
LARP: Learning Through Role-Play and Storytelling

The LARP (Live Action Role Play) project explores how immersive role-playing can be used as a powerful tool for learning, creativity, and community engagement. By stepping into fictional roles and collaborative story worlds, participants develop empathy, communication skills and the ability to explore complex social topics in a safe and creative environment.
Through this project, Magnet and our international partners introduce LARP as an innovative educational methodology, combining elements of theatre, storytelling, game design and non-formal education. The project brings together youth workers, educators, artists and young people to experiment with role-play as a method for reflection, dialogue and social learning.

Unlike traditional theatre, LARP is not performed for an audience — everyone becomes part of the story.
The project focuses on exploring how LARP can be used in educational and cultural contexts to:

Workshops, learning exchanges, and practical LARP sessions allow participants to both experience and design their own role-playing scenarios.
