What it is about

Imagine using dance, theatre, and street art to speak up about important global issues and make a real impact in your community—that’s what PIROUETTE Phase 2 is all about! This project brings together young people, artists, and youth workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland, Kosovo, Germany, Montenegro, and Serbia to learn, create, and perform. Through international trainings, study visits, and job shadowing, you’ll explore how performative arts can be a tool for change. You’ll also get a chance to develop your artistic skills, collaborate with other creatives, and co-create powerful performances that tackle real-world challenges. Whether you’re joining a 5-day training in Serbia, exchanging ideas in Berlin’s Youth Art Lab, or taking part in job shadowing at an arts organization abroad, this is your chance to turn creativity into action!

What we will do

🔹 International Training & Mobility – Young people, youth workers, and artists will participate in training courses, study visits, and artistic residencies across Europe to exchange knowledge, explore artistic methods, and strengthen their global citizenship mindset.

🔹 Community-Based Art Practices – Local training sessions and cultural workshops will equip young participants with creative tools to integrate artistic expression with social activism and community engagement.

🔹 Artistic Productions & Showcases – The project will culminate in the creation of six original performances, bringing together diverse artistic expressions that highlight cultural heritage, identity, and global challenges.

🔹 Job Shadowing & Professional Development – Emerging artists and youth workers will engage in mentored job shadowing experiences within partner organizations, developing skills in cultural production, event organization, and advocacy.

🔹 Global Art Fusion Catalogue – A comprehensive digital and print resource compiling artistic methodologies, cultural insights, and youth-driven performances will be created, serving as a model for future community-led cultural projects.
