Open Day in Magnet House
On Saturday, 12 September, from 5 to 9 pm, we invite you to Veliki Gaj for another Magnet House Open Day. You will have a chance to discover the house, see what was created here during our summer art residency, and spend the evening with a performance by Belgrade-based DAH Theatre.
From 5 pm, visitors will be able to explore Magnet House and join a guided tour of the “Magnet Art” exhibition, featuring works created during the Magnet Art Residency 2026. Over ten days in August, an international group of artists working across different disciplines created their works in Veliki Gaj, inspired by the spirit of the house and its surroundings.
During the evening, we will also welcome DAH Theatre from Belgrade, one of Serbia’s longest-running independent professional theatre collectives, with the performance “25 Glasses of Wine”, performed by Dijana Milošević. The performance starts at 7 pm.
The Open Day is also an opportunity to talk about new collaborations.
We especially invite independent organisations, associations, informal groups, artistic collectives and individuals looking for a space for their programmes, residencies, gatherings or new ideas. If you think we could work together or even become longer-term “housemates”, come and meet us, and let’s talk.
And if you would like to stay a little longer, the evening does not have to end at 9 pm. Guests are welcome to stay overnight at Magnet House. Advance registration is required for overnight stays, either by email at office@magnet.house or via DM on our social media channels (@magnet.house).
